Fake news fandom was starting to feel under-analyzed in comparison with pundit fandom, so I made some pie charts.
The numbers are taken from
fakenews_fanfic's tag list. I focused on the pairings that were specifically TDS/TCR-related (so no Anderson, Keith, or Rachel), and limited it to tags that had 10 or more uses.
Chart 1 has all the pairings except Jon/Stephen and Jon/"Stephen". Loosely grouped and color-coordinated, so you can see what areas of fandom get the most focus.
( Charts! )
You can see why I left them off the first chart -- half the other pairings wouldn't even have been visible! There's more Jon/Stephen than everything except "Stephen"/Jon put together, and that's just at FNFF, not even attempting to include the many years when
tds_rps was active and also J/S-dominated. (The inclusion of TDS_RPS would likely do other interesting things to the data, particularly the Rob/Ed and Steve/Stephen numbers...but a proper analysis would take more time than I have.)
So, yeah...this is what you get instead of a prompt thread this weekend. Discuss at will!
