Title: At The End Of All Things
Author: [personal profile] queenfanfiction
Fandom: Fake News RPF, Pundit RPF
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: Character deaths liek whoa, suicide, and generally as depressing as all hell.
Summary: It takes 66 days for the world to end, and Jon is there to watch it all.

Author's Notes: I don’t even KNOW where this came from. Um. I’d say “Enjoy,” except, you know. Jon says the first part of the Mourner’s Kaddish, while Stephen says the traditional closing prayer of a Catholic funeral (according to Wikipedia).

Title: And He Left the Linen Cloth...
Author: [personal profile] twtd
Rating: R
Fandom: Pundit RPF
Pairing: Rachel Maddow/Ann Curry, Ann Curry/Brian Williams, implied Rachel Maddow/Ann Curry/ Brian Williams
Summary: The amount of seersucker and madras and perfectly pastel garden party dresses on display verged on garish, on parody, but it was just understated enough to avoid that fate. Ann wouldn't have allowed anything so gauche at her party anyway.

Rachel is attending a garden party where everything isn't a perfect as it seems.

AN: This takes place in the same universe as A Girl in Every Port but reading that isn't necessary as long as you know that Rachel is a lieutenant in the Navy and Keith owns a bar.
Disclaimer: None of this is real.
Warnings: None

Prologue | Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Epilogue

( Stephen was in full gentledom mode as he was ushered into the front room. He shook Brian's hand, kissed Jon's, and held out a bouquet of lilies and forget-me-nots that was very nearly larger than Jon was. )

Summary: Fic as written within the D/s 'verse of [personal profile] sarcasticsra's The Way Things Need To Be. Stephen's a dom. Really. And the strike is not getting to him. Oh, no. (Needless to say, Jon is very, very worried.)

Now with 75% more meta. Because who am I to deny the people what they want?

Title: The Sword In His Mouth: Prologue (0/4)
Rating: PG
Warnings: D/s (obviously!); mild religious content; gratuitous meta
Disclaimers: This is a work of parody. Although references is made to real persons, places, and events, the dialog, actions, and content are products of the author's imagination only. Fictional characters are property of The Colbert Report and its writers. All LJ usernames are fictional. Any resemblance to real LJ users, active or strikethrough'd, is purely coincidental.

So, um, this is a bit crack. Half actual story, half...some kind of parody. (I'll leave it up to the reader to figure out how much of it is self-parody.)

This is a fic about the fic produced by the fandom in the 'verse of the fic The Way Things Need To Be, by the ever-excellent [personal profile] sarcasticsra. Social relationships are arranged in terms of Doms and subs rather than men and women; BriWi/Jon just became canon; and Stephen plays a character who is a straight closeted sub, about whom people write fic. (It'll all make sense when you read it. I hope.)

Prologue | Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Epilogue

( 'The Colb-lar! Available in the Comedy Central store, just as soon as we can find a manufacturer willing to produce them. What better way to tell your sub, 'Yes, you belong to me, but your first allegiance is the Colbert Nation'?' )

For [personal profile] sarcasticsra, whose incredibly transparent [livejournal.com profile] fakenews_fanfic Secret Santa wish asked for a lighthearted mystery/comedy involving Brian, Jon, and "Stephen"...here is my equally obvious response. Featuring Stephen in CAPSLOCK, Jon in strange costumes, a mysterious meat thief, and a surprise pairing.

Special thanks to my mother, for inadvertently breaking my writer's block.
